Rebuilding Lyndale – Turning the First Sod!

On Friday the 28th of April we had a “Sod Turning” Ceremony to celebrate the end of demolition and the start of construction of the STEM building at Lyndale Secondary College. Our local Member of Parliament Gabrielle Williams and school council president Kerry Hayhow visited the college to help celebrate with us. Lyndale secondary college greatly appreciates the efforts they put in on our behalf to get to this stage of construction.

Gabrielle Williams also announced $6 million will be set aside in the state budget to assist in building stage two of the college.

You might notice the part demolition of the Hall is taking place in readiness for the redevelopment to a Performing Arts Centre and Cafeteria and other facilities.
