RV12 ultralight plane wing construction

During 2020 our school formed a working relationship with SAAA (Sport Aircraft Association of Australia) to work on a joint project – the construction of an ultralight plane (RV12). Our school represented the state of Victoria and we were allocated the construction of a wing for the RV12.

During COVID, our students began constructing the wing and have been working under the supervision of SAAA volunteers. The wing is now completed and about to be sent to Mangalore Airport (near Seymour ) where it will be spray-painted in readiness for the trip to Narromine NSW over the Queens Birthday long weekend, 12,13 & 14th of June.

Below is a link that you may wish to access for a brief snapshot of the build.
